Fix & Improve Ballot Measure 110
After Oregon voters decriminalized hard drugs with disastrous consequences for people and communities, Gallatin organized a ballot initiative campaign to roll it back. Under intense public pressure, state lawmakers voted to recriminalize hard drugs and require treatment.

Voices for Affordable Health
To ensure policy makers hear directly from consumers, Pacific Northwest health insurer Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield partnered with Gallatin to organize and activate grassroots voices in four states.

Willamette Falls Trust
Gallatin is supporting Willamette Falls Trust in its advocacy to restore public access to one of Oregon’s greatest natural spaces.
Stop the metro wage tax
When a Portland-area regional government proposed the largest local tax increase in Oregon history, Gallatin helped lead the campaign to stop it. The $4 billion dollar tax was defeated 57% to 43%.

Walla Walla Community College
When the pandemic hurt enrollment in higher education institutions throughout the region, Walla Walla Community College turned to Gallatin to build back interest and enrollment through targeted communications.

Portland Timbers
In 2009, when new owners wanted to bring Major League Soccer to Portland, Gallatin helped convince the city council to renovate the city-owned stadium to make it a reality.

Oregon’s fourth largest city had too few police officers and firefighters for a city its size, but voters had rejected previous efforts to fund more. Gallatin helped change that.

Halprin Landscape Conservancy/Save Keller Auditorium
The Portland City Council was debating whether or not to renovate the 100-year-old Keller Auditorium. Gallatin elevated the voices of grassroots Portlanders to save it. The council voted unanimously to renovate.

beaverton public safety levy
Voters in Beaverton, Oregon had consistently opposed efforts to build a modern facility for police and courts. Gallatin helped change that.

Supporting arts funding
The pandemic left arts and culture organizations across Oregon reeling. Gallatin lobbied the legislature to secure funding to ensure they survive and grow.
