Jason Little

Principal | Gallatin Public Affairs

For more than 15 years, Jason Little has been at the center of Portland and Oregon politics, public policy, and civic life, serving as a senior aide to longtime U.S. Congressman Earl Blumenauer and working at the Portland Metro Chamber of Commerce. As Deputy Chief of Staff and District Director to the Congressman, Jason connected the issues on Capitol Hill to the daily lives of Oregonians. He managed engagement with the business community, labor unions, environmental groups, nonprofits, and local elected officials in the Portland area and across the state.

Guiding the Congressman’s Oregon office, Jason was integral in securing federal dollars for local projects, directing over $50 million to community-based organizations. Jason is an effective communicator and coalition builder. A signature accomplishment was his role in helping pass the Restaurants Act — a $28.6 billion pandemic grant program for independently owned restaurants.

Before joining Congressman Blumenauer’s office, Jason worked at the Portland Metro Chamber, where he helped small businesses navigate local government and advocate for a stronger business environment. His community involvement includes serving on boards and advisory committees for World Oregon, TriMet, and the Linfield University alumni association.

Born and raised in Portland, Jason lives in Southeast Portland with his wife and young son. When he’s not working, he enjoys cheering on the Timbers, relaxing at the Oregon Coast, running, or traveling to some far-off destination.
