Ted Dahlstrom


As a Seattle-based Associate for Gallatin Public Affairs, Ted Dahlstrom wears many hats, but his most important role is ensuring the company’s client relationships and projects are organized and operating efficiently. Being the father of a five-year-old son has taught him the importance of patience, discipline, and managing competing priorities, qualities he regularly brings to Gallatin as a project manager and strategic consultant.

A skilled researcher, writer, editor, and communicator, Ted joined Gallatin after living in both Seattle and Washington, D.C., growing his career in communication, advocacy, and public policy. His professional background includes experience in the public sector, private sector, non-profit management, and consulting. Ted uses his skills and expertise to seamlessly
collaborate with clients and colleagues as he guides projects of all sizes through the Gallatin Five-Step approach. Relentlessly organized, Ted searches for ways to ensure projects are designed and implemented as efficiently as possible to ensure success and client satisfaction.

Ted earned his M.A. in Communication and Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University, and is a member of Lambda Pi Eta, the National Communication Association honor society. He also earned a B.S. in Business Marketing and a Minor in Political Science from the University of Montana. In addition, he holds a Certificate in Public Relations and Strategic Communications from the University of Washington. His interests include cooking, sports, and spending time with his wife and son.
