Jill Eiland

Senior Counsel

Building on a distinguished career, Jill Eiland serves as a Senior Counsel to Gallatin’s clients. She brings decades of leadership and insights from successfully navigating public policy and communication issues for Oregon’s leading businesses, educational institutions and community organizations.

Jill has an unmatched knowledge of Oregon, coupled with deep ties in the business and civic communities. From 2006 to 2017, she served as the Director of Public Affairs for Intel Corporation, leading media relations, government relations, community relations and educational outreach for Intel’s largest site and Oregon’s largest employer. Previously, Jill was Vice President of Corporate Communications for Knowledge Learning Corporation, and Director of Public Affairs for Portland General Electric.

A native Oregonian, Jill has served on numerous government and civic boards, including the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), the Portland Business Alliance, the Oregon Business Association and the Portland Community College Foundation. She received the Portland Business Journal’s Orchid Award in 2010, awarded to the top 25 women business leaders in Portland.

A devoted Oregon State Beaver, Jill received a Business degree from OSU and earned her M.B.A. at George Washington University. She serves on the OSU Foundation Board of Trustees and was a member of the OSU Alumni Association Board and the College of Business Dean’s Circle of Excellence. Jill received OSU’s College of Business Distinguished Business Professional Award in 2014.
