Partner and Shareholder, Oregon
Kelsey Wilson is a policy expert who knows how to effectively navigate the Oregon legislature and state government. She knows the people and the process, inside-out. For more than a decade, Kelsey has represented interests essential to Oregon’s economy – from transportation funding and policy to health care and energy. Working from the firm’s offices in both Portland and Salem, Kelsey specializes in state government relations and grassroots and coalition politics.
Prior to joining Gallatin, Kelsey worked for seven years in state lobbying and Oregon politics. She managed a successful campaign for a state representative and directed a successful ballot measure campaign. She helped manage the Oregon Transit Association, where she was responsible for advocating policies critical to the state’s transportation industry and served as Executive Director of the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants, where she oversaw the organization’s state legislative advocacy efforts.
Kelsey earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Gonzaga University, where she was an Academic All-American collegiate golfer and played four years on the varsity women’s golf team. She and her husband live in Salem with their three children.
“Working with legislators, stakeholders and clients to guarantee that every party has the historical background, data and research they need to make informed policy decisions is the critical role that lobbyists play in the legislative process. We can agree to disagree, but ensuring that everyone has the right information is a part of my job that I take great pride in.”
