Eric Schudiske drives wins through compelling public relations campaigns and social media content that ignites results. Serving tech, biomed and traditional clients throughout the Pacific Northwest, Eric delivers innovative communications strategies and the tactical know-how to exceed expectations. Eric’s experience spans successful company branding and rebranding efforts.
A collaborative storyteller, the former major market broadcast journalist thrives on meeting client deadlines. Before joining Gallatin, Eric managed public relations and social media for a global tech company. Eric has orchestrated communications campaigns reaching as far as the International Space Station. As a TV reporter Eric broadcast live while embedded with Pennsylvania Task Force One Search and Rescue during Hurricane Katrina, shook hands with the Dalai Lama and has earned a personal collection of White House press badges while reporting on the President.
A proud Packers fan and failed bowling prodigy, Eric grew up in Wisconsin. He’s a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Eric further studied in Scotland, worked across the northern tier of the U.S. including Pennsylvania and has traveled to more than 20 countries. He now lives in Seattle with his wife Christina. They have two beloved dogs, one of whom is honestly pretty lazy, more like a furry dog-shaped rug. They all can be found in the Ballard neighborhood exploring the craft beer scene or treading slowly [re: lazy dog] through local parks.
“Your brand is now a publisher and reaching millions of people is a click or two away. My tenure reporting in the lightning-fast world of 24-hour news and at the helm of PR and social media for a global tech company delivers a unique insight into the changing landscape of communications. What’s the same is that effective communications is still a talent. What’s changed is everything else.”
